Human Character Template:
Foreward: The more effort you put into your biography, the more likely you are to be accepted. Your biography should be well written, grammatically correct with proper spelling, and cosmetically pleasing ( that is to say, it shouldn’t be a cobbled up / jumbled up mess ). Be sure to review the Storyline as well as the Rules and Regulations THOROUGHLY before applying.
Make sure your display name is set to your character name before applying. Unsatisfactory applicants may be asked to revise aspects of their applications or denied access to the RPG altogether, so make sure to give us your best work!
<<<…>>> <<<…>>> <<<…>>>
Name: Your characters name. Remember that this needs to be your display name here on the board. Your name also needs to reflect your character nationality and occupation. A Japanese woman wouldn’t be named Maxwell Torres, and a member of the armed forces is most likely to go last name first, like Torres, M..
Occupation: What does your character does for a living ( and most importantly, for the RPG )? There are nearly limitless possibilities for your characters occupation, and so long as your writing / grammar are good enough, you can get approved for almost anything, including large roles such as leaders of organizations or what have you. Remember, your role can be as big or as little as you want, but bigger roles may be denied if your writing simply isn’t up to par.
Sex: Male or Female? If you need help with this, you don’t need to be here.
Age: Your characters age.
Height: Your characters height.
Weight: Your characters weight ( this must match your body type ).
Eye Color: Your characters eye color.
Hair Color: Your character hair color.
Appearance: This is a WRITTEN INTERPRETATION of what your character looks like that can include key elements like race, hair color and style, manner of dressing, scars, marks, tattoos, body build, or any other information you can give us. This is how other players will see you, so please be thorough!
Personality: How does your character act? How does he or she see the world? Your personality should tell us what makes your character tick. Likes and dislikes, issues, and anything else you can tell us are important. If you write that your character is a homicidal killer who is very anti-social, but you do not play that role, then we’re going to have a problem.
Skills, Traits, and Abilities: Ah, the fun stuff. This should include as much detail as possible, telling us what kind of education your character has, background that can aide them in survival, special training, or abilities such as telekinesis or psychic visions. It WILL be possible for your character to learn new skills, traits, and abilities as your play this RPG, but they will only be rewarded to you through well done role-playing. While leniency will be practiced to an extent, please keep your character within the bounds of reason.
Inventory: We need a list of special / specific items your character may be in possession of such as weapons, ancient artifacts, maps, or whatever. Your biography needs to reflect how your character came across these items or they will not be permitted. You can add additional items to your inventory later, but you’ll need to roleplay how you come across them.
Biography: There should be at least three full paragraphs that are four sentences each for your biography, and it should tell us where your character comes from, what makes them who they are, and how they came to be in their current situation. It should also include key background information that tells us how they came about their traits and skills, or can even tell us of past events that gave them the scars they wear today. Please, be very thorough with your biography, as this not only adds to your own character, but also to our overall storyline here at Godzilla Wars.
Sample Roleplay: Again, this section of your application should be three full paragraphs, four sentences each. IT MUST BE A RP PERTAINING TO THE CHARACTER YOU WISH TO SIGN UP AS! RP’s from other sites will not cut it. I want to see how you portray your character. Whatever they’re doing in the RP is up to you so long it isn’t a gratuitous sex scene or some such thing. If you think that’s a funny way to push my buttons, you’ll be banned.
Optional Information: All of the following information is optional-
[/li][li] Why do you want to play? And this gives us a general idea of why you decided to apply after you found us.
[/li][li] Is there anything you want to add? Begging to be let in doesn’t work here, so save your breath. If you do have questions, comments, or concerns, however, you can voice them here.[/li][/ul]
